FIVE'S A CHARM

AT the risk of being monotonous and boring and driving you all to sleep, I just have to do it and pay my tribute to one Mr. Eldrick Tiger Woods. Many people might not even realize what every win means. Briefly,
  • He has opened doors to minority's to play the wonderful game of golf,
  • Golf has become a widely accepted sport and not just for the rich and spoilt,
  • Kids are now playing a lot more golf and learning all the positive values that the sport has to offer,
  • Many Corporate Companies have now adopted Tiger's winning strategies into their business plans.

And if any of you watched Tiger this past weekend, 3 strokes down getting into the final day and getting even in the the first 3 holes of the final round know exactly what I mean when I say this was truly a special performance especially against a tough opponent like Vijay. His Dad did not name him Tiger for nothing.

C'mmon now be a Tiger..... (that's my mantra now, everyday)

You are right, you sound monotonous and boring and you are driving us to sleep. First and foremost the guy doesn't even Identify with colored people. He does not believe in advocating for the black people, so grow up

Sonny, thank you for the reasons you gave on Tiger. I had not thought of him in this positive light.

Okay, he might not identify with black people (I wonder who still referes to Black people as coloured!!!) but he is still a positive model for us, and boy, does he give a shot in the arm for our children!!!

Thank you for the post, and have a lovely week. Still waiting for my invite to Uzeb...

Anon - I respect your views but lets call a spade a spade. Mr Tiger is a colored and a minority who has done more for the sport than anyone else.

Then again what do you know when you seemingly don't understand the game. It's a high IQ sport too might I have forgotten to point that out and anyone closer to a plant IQ or lets just call it, like a banana plant cannot even get close to understanding this & that's why you don't have the balls to come out and have to hide in anonimity.

Be careful on who roll with fool.

Uaridi - Hi Auntie. This isn't meant to be racist at all. Am the same one who applauded Lance Armstong when he won 7 consecutive Tour de France. Some people don't just get it.

Thanks though.

Uaridi - Hey you. Asante for the comments. Anon above is going through an identity crisis so am not even sweating it.

Anon - Just felt to remind you to feel free to visit and share you 2 senses with us. You simply make us all feel so much better.

So glad someone else loves Tiger as much as I do. His focus is incredible! and he gives great interviews whether he's won or lost. My all time favorite ad is the nike one where he juggles a golf ball :-) http://youtube.com/watch?v=gCWSIPGCVQk&mode=related&search=

He will so break Nicklaus' record!
