The IT Factor...

Guys, here's the best description of the IT factor that is so lacking in the American Society. A Quote from one of the players immediately after the complete defeat of the US team in the Ryder Cup.

"This isn't soccer or cricket. We're actually supposed to win this event on a semi-regular basis. But the Europeans have IT, of course, whatever it is. They share a symbolic bond that's so hard to define and so easy to see."

That right there is the true definition of the IT Factor as plainly & simple put as possible. This is what the rest of the world has always known & seen over the years, coupled with the US arrogance and bullish character which does not help the cause much.

US students are always dead last in the SAT's and other school/college tests compared to the students from the rest of the world. The top brains in the corporate world, labs & hospitals are foreigners. Do not get me wrong folks, Americans are wonderful people but they lack of a strong culture to identify with and strong values that helps to build their character is consipicuously lacking from the US society. Most of the Top Americans are Jews who too have a strong bond and culture that has carried them through to their successes. Over the years the moral fabric that helps build these values has been drastically eroded and now anything goes, how else can you explain something like the hip hop culture which is currently a widely recognised and accepted way of life. A morally loose thug life..just how??

The recent failure in the US basketball, both men & women, World Cup soccer, Hockey, Davis Cup Tennis, World Baseball and now the Ryder cup should be a huge red flag that things are not all well & dandy back in the ranch and that the rest of the world (Aliens) live on strong and are doing just fine on their own. Did I mention the Tour De France, I too would win it if I juiced up right.....

The days of Super powers, dynasties and colonization are over and in years to come everyone will be allowed to travel anywhere in the world unrestricted.. So all these forced invasions is going to have to stop...

Wake up guys and smell the roses or else it will be too late and your good people & abundantly wealthy country will be nothing but a shell of shame...

Homecoming Butt Whooping...

All roads lead to New Orleans for the Monday Night football game... A critical division game with both teams surprisingly at 2;0 and the first home game for the New Orleans Saints at the recently renovated Superdome (pictured above) since Hurricane Katrina..

Here the mindset for the falcons should be, it's just another game cut all the hoopla & go in and get the W, whichever which way...

3 days & counting - Are you ready for some football!!!!

GO FALCONS.....

Strange Bedfellows...

The United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York will bring together these two guys who will try to do everything possible to avoid each other... President Bush & President Ahmadinejad of Iran.

I don't know about you or isn't this the best opportune time to wine & dine your enemy and try and understand them and hopefully learn a thing or two.... Clinton could have taken this guy to a strip club and let him spill all the beans ... strategy is the name of the game, hey, whatever works..

Just a thought...looks like a missed opportunity, PR or otherwise...

Remembering 9/11...

As we all stop for a moment to remember all the events of 9/11 and the departed ones, what this day reminds me too is how it all started with the twin bombings of the US Embassy in Kenya that killed 257 people and injured more than 4000 people on August 7th '98.

On that day I was working just a few blocks away from the Embassy and was scheduled to take an orientation drive out with one of the senior guys. This drive would have taken me right past the Embassy at the same exact time the bomb went off. This guy who was driving me out had a few things that he needed to do which delayed our departure..

At about 9.30 AM the bomb went off and two thoughts came to mind, either the office of the President had been bombed or the KICC that was hosting the annual music festivals at the time. I remember insinctively going under a desk because the explosion was so loud that it shattered windows and brought the cieling down. After a while we all ran out of the building and upon getting out, met people running with bloody deep cuts to their bodies from the shrapnel crying and screaming. Some in prayer and some just holding onto the first person they saw. I cannot recall ever seeing people so willing to help, concerned and united...At that moment and later on we were one, just like 9/11.

Within minutes it was all over news and everything stopped and the rest is history.. hundreds of innocent people died and thousands more injured and maimed for life... 9/11 wasn't any different ONLY at a much bigger bigger scale.. Al Queda had hit and was on the prowl, only to hit the twin towers two years later....

Human life is valuable and should be cherished and dearly protected and we are all facing a common enemy who does not hold any of these values.. Be safe guys...

Summer from HELL!!!

Have you ever had a time in your life you'd like to forget and cold boot from your memory forever??? Yeah, mine's this last summer where everything that could go wrong went wrong. I think Murphy had moved in....

SO with this new season, it's like a whole new chapter and am hoping it brings with it some better tides..

So, what went wrong?? Just to name a few,
  • My nice car konked out like kapoot, was running fine, fully paid for and then all over a sudden on the highway decides to start coughing, choke & stall all in that order. Early prognosis is not good and it's now in a coma on life support with no signs of recovery.
  • My relationship has gone to the hounds and seeing her makes me wanna throw up..
  • Work is slow and this new position that I interviewed for has not made a decision yet... my expenses are up the roof and the bank does not care one bit.
  • Ooh I almost forgot, this young rela of mine decided to fly to the Uzbec without informing anyone and into some shit-hole-in-the-wall-rural-college in the mid-west, now the poor guy is in shit and is asking for help...

A NEW SEASON, NEW PAGE, NEW CHAPTER... like a sniff of mountain fresh air...

JZ the P.I.M.P???

I don't know if it's just me who feels the same way but jigga is literally pimping out Ms Beyonce to the detriment of her share value which is dropping real fast. If you watched the recent MTV awards and the last BET awards Beyonce has lost that magical draw that she seemingly had on all us men and women alike fixated & drooling in admiration. She has dressed up more scantily and sang weired songs and the perfomances have not lived up to the hype neither have they been breathtaking as they were 2 years ago.

As a huge Beyonce fan I'm a little troubled. See B is at another class right now where she could easily go for super stardom like Halle Berry, Tom Cruise before scientology, Denzel & Tom Hanks but she's losing it in my view.

I would be interested to know what you think........

Steve Irwin R.I.P

Fondly will be remembered as the Brave Crocodile hunter from down under who wasn't a flashy celebrity but a guy who did his job to educate everyone about animals.

His death somehow touches many around the world like a personal loss..

You will be dearly missed by all , Steve.

R.I.P

FIVE'S A CHARM

AT the risk of being monotonous and boring and driving you all to sleep, I just have to do it and pay my tribute to one Mr. Eldrick Tiger Woods. Many people might not even realize what every win means. Briefly,
  • He has opened doors to minority's to play the wonderful game of golf,
  • Golf has become a widely accepted sport and not just for the rich and spoilt,
  • Kids are now playing a lot more golf and learning all the positive values that the sport has to offer,
  • Many Corporate Companies have now adopted Tiger's winning strategies into their business plans.

And if any of you watched Tiger this past weekend, 3 strokes down getting into the final day and getting even in the the first 3 holes of the final round know exactly what I mean when I say this was truly a special performance especially against a tough opponent like Vijay. His Dad did not name him Tiger for nothing.

C'mmon now be a Tiger..... (that's my mantra now, everyday)

STUNNED!!!!!!!!!

Guys we keep saying it time & time again. There are other people out there, other cultures out there, other religions out there.. it's not all about the Americans.....
Now what do you say when the 3rd consecutive Dream team lost to Greece at the semi final stage....

Iverson had nothing to do with it, Nor Duncan who's not all American.. So whats the excuse this time around and you had Lebron, Carmelo, Wade etc etc and was looking like a shoe-in a few weeks ago... It's not about the dunking & dribbling and flashy moves.. it's team work that counts....

Take this same approach to other things like war, democracy, capitalism, religion that the US is trying everyone else to force down other people's throats... I keep saying time & time again if there was a BS'ing Championship we know who would win. Always fighting with the United Nations and undermining it's abilities, power & authority... & those of other sovereign states..

I'm a happy camper today, you can tell.. Have a kabooz on me folks... It's a long weekend over here in the Uzbec......It doesn;t happen everyday, so lets swim on this stunner today...
